in case you missed it on my instagram stories, natalie and i styled our anthropologie quilted kimono jacket this morning. i love these tandem styling sessions because it not only challenges me to compose ensembles with existing items in my wardrobe, but more importantly, i hope it offers a little inspiration for our followers if they were considering purchasing/already purchased the featured piece. in all honesty, it was natalie’s high praise of the jacket that convinced me that i needed to try it for myself. and for someone who normally shies away from outerwear, i was pleasantly surprised by how much i loved this style. perhaps it’s because it seems to strike the balance of being comfortable while still providing structure and shape. whatever the reason, it will definitely be my go-to piece this winter -if the weather ever cools off enough for me to wear it outside the confines of my air-conditioned house!
