alert the authorities –i finally found a wool-based knit that IS NOT ITCHY. i repeat, IT IS NOT ITCHY. as someone with sensitive skin, i’ve avoided the material for decades but once i spotted this chanel-inspired cardigan while perusing sezane’s website, i just had to try it. once it arrived, i braced myself for that crawling sensation as i slipped on the sleeves, but once i had it all the way on, i was pleasantly surprised. my skin was calm and i looked CUTE. the detailing on the collar and the knotted buttons are EVERYTHING -especially with the black and ecru combination. in true, “if you love something you should buy it in every color/version” fashion, after purchasing the black and ecru sweater, i proceeded to add both the vintage blue and plain ecru styles to my wardrobe as well. no matter the shade, the buttoned cardigan is a have forever kind of piece and i can’t wait to pull them out each fall/winter year after year.
