in honor of christmas being less than a week away, i’m feeling inspired to put together holiday-appropriate looks for the pending festivities. the first of two looks (the second will be posted tomorrow!) is a cozy yet feminine ensemble perfect for christmas eve dinner or a fancier christmas morning.

as i always say, second to looking fashionable, my top priority when putting together an outfit (for any time of the year) is being comfortable! with a swing silhouette, this jersey dress is the perfect marriage of chic and cozy. i recently paired it with tights, which would also be a great addition especially if you’re in a cooler climate. in this case, i decided to layer my pom pom cardigan (never not wearing it these days, guys, it’s THAT good) over the long-sleeve frock and pair it with my everlane boss boots to keep the classic vibe of black and white. after natalie recently did a styling session with these over-the-knee boots, i also think this outfit would be adorable with a higher-shaft boot.
