on friday night, i went on a good old-fashioned dinner-and-a-movie date. rimel’s for dinner (yum) and cinepolis for the 8:30 p.m. showing of begin again.
now i know i can’t just casually throw in the fact that i went on a real life grown-up date and not follow-up with a complete break-down with every detail from opened car door to hand-hold. but i’m not ready to reveal things yet. it’s in that really great new all i want to do is spend time with you and listen to john mayer on repeat stage. so i’m going to do something crazy and keep it to myself for now. because while i love sharing my life on a public forum, i also realize that makes it vulnerable for public fodder. so if all continues to progress as lovely as it has thus far, trust me, he’s bound to make an appearance. but for now, you’ll just have to wait.
it appears that we have now gotten completely off-topic. weird, that never happens.
bringing it back to my original intentions -we saw begin again. but before keira knightly and adam levine’s beard graced us with their presence, we sat through a half-dozen previews of coming attractions. the first one being this one:
(tina fey looks so good with long hair! crosby braverman, TAMI FREAKING TAYLOR)
this is where i leave you hits theaters nationwide on september 19th, 2014. that means i have a little more than two months to finally get to reading the novel it was adapted from. the novel by jonathan tropper that has literally been cued up on my nook for at least three weeks now. whoopsies.
all aboard the reading rainbow.
