as i mentioned in our latest S & S wedding update, we visited our venue this weekend. given that it is first and foremost a winery we mixed a little business with pleasure and treated ourselves to a little glass of wine while we chatted with our coordinators/florists. i opted for a glass of moscato and S, a bold glass of rosso (red wine). we sipped our varietals and toured the grounds on what turned out to be the perfect summer day.
i was coming straight from teaching my saturday morning studio barre classes, so i had little time to do much with my hair. besides being adorably fashionable, my favorite thing about wide brim hats are how they easily hide unwashed locks. on the outside, you look pulled together but on the inside you know you’re harboring about half a can of dry shampoo 😉
vetta capsule skirt || h&m tank || j.crew chambray
soludos shoes || fossil bag (c/o) || madewell hat
for an easy and comfortable summertime look, i restyled the other half of my vetta dress (see how i styled the top half here) -pairing the midi skirt with a simple black tank to give the illusion of a LBD. the black on black was also a great choice to hide wine stains ;). to break up the monochromatic look, i tied a chambray around my waist and added my blush cross body bag. black espadrilles (and a glass of moscoto, of course) finished off the look.
