do you wear lipstick? i used to be strictly a gloss girl, but over the past few years, i have found lipstick to be one of my best secret weapons. not only does it brighten up a tired face (#mynewnormal), but it’s an instant mood booster, bolstering my confidence and giving me a mini pep in my step!

my new favorite shade is laura mercier’s matte formula in “french kiss” (seen above and below). while definitely a vibrant pink, the matte finish helps keep it from feeling too much for everyday wear. which is good because i’ve been wearing it daily ever since i got it!

the holidays are a great time to experiment with wearing a bolder shade than maybe you’re accustomed to. lucky for you, i’ve gathered up a few of my favorite holiday hues, including this shade that i’m eyeing to add to my collection.
