it started so innocently. i’ll just pop into anthropologie to kill time. before i knew it, i had wandered into a dressing room with this jumpsuit in hand. i wasn’t expecting to love it as much as i did, but as soon as i tried on this denim beauty, there was no denying the fact that it was jumpsuit perfection.

sometimes you don’t choose the jumpsuit, the jumpsuit chooses you. after months of trying to find a pair of overalls to accommodate my long torso, this onesie seemed like the next best thing. and unlike overalls, the jumpsuit will provide the option to style it a multitude of ways -wearing it on its own as i did in the anthropologie dressing room, or with a t-shirt layered underneath as i did on father’s day. it could also easily transition into fall worn with a sweater, cardigan, or light jacket.
similar to breezy dresses, a jumpsuit is a great wardrobe hero come summertime. simply slip it on and pair it with some sandals, and voila, outfit made. it would also be great for traveling since denim doesn’t wrinkle as much as other light-weight fabrics like linen.
i’ve linked a few more denim options (since denim is so versatile!) below. not that i need another chambray jumpsuit, but this one is REAL cute.

The jumpsuit looks great on you. (I also like the Free People Fara Jumpsuit.) And, I think you’re correct… it will pair nicely with different tops or a light jacket. You have a winner there. And, as a treat, your Mr. snapped the pictures with your lovely new home as the backdrop. Nice post on so many levels. Have a great day.

Thank you so much! It’s so fun that our new house can be a perfect backdrop. We don’t have to travel too far now 😉
Love you!
