a dress for summer

you guys, this dress deserved its own post. as i recently mentioned on instagram, i initially skipped over this frock when perusing the mango sale but after seeing it on sarah, i knew it had to be mine. when it arrived a couple weeks ago, the silhouette far exceeded expectations. i mean, the neckline just might be the most flattering style i’ve ever tried! then you add in ruffles and a flutter sleeve and a gorgeous bright blue print and bam, it becomes the perfect dress for summer (and beyond!). i went with my normal mango size (small/4) but since i wear it sans bra (i wear my nippie covers since it’s such a deep v), i think it runs a tad bit big in the bust area. for that reason, i will probably take it to my tailor to have it a bit more customized to me. however, if breastfeeding/pumping for twins hasn’t left your chest like deflated water balloons, you might be just fine with your usual size. anyway it’s still on sale and under $60 and would be the most gorgeous option for a late summer wedding! here’s how i styled it for a recent trip to our local botanical gardens.

mango organic cotton ruffled dress -also available here (small/4) || converse breathable chuck 70 sneakers (sized down 1/2 size) || cuyana summer hat
