now that sunny days are a more consistent occurrence around these parts, i’m excited to delve more into summer style. i was actually driving to work the other day thinking about outfits i could put together using some of my summer pieces -particularly my tanks and sleeveless blouses and shorts! including these high-waisted pink striped cuties you may remember from this post.

while i tend to gravitate toward breezier pieces (i.e. light-weight dresses) in hotter weather, i also love the ease and practicality of a good pair of shorts. and this summer, there are so many good ones to choose from! in keeping with my signature style, i’m naturally gravitating toward high-waisted silhouettes. not only do they show off a toned waistline, but they’re perfect for layering over everything from a blousy white top to a bodysuit or one piece bathing suit. i’ve rounded up a few of my favorite styles in a variety of colors and all under $100!
