since i teach studio barre classes on saturday morning, it would be very easy to stay in workout clothes for the remainder of the day once i get home. and believe me, there have been many a saturday where i did just that. but in an interest of making the most out of our weekends as well as upholding S and my commitment to continue to pursue each other in year two of our marriage (and year four of our relationship!), saturday night date night has become an integral part of our weekly routine. that means taking the time to shower, do my hair, apply makeup, and get a little dressed up.

on this particular date night, we joined my parents for an early dinner at the pony room at the rancho valencia. as i mentioned in friday’s post, a trip to the resort has been on my bucket list for years and our experience did not disappoint. first of all, the grounds are beautiful -covered in tile-lined paths and vibrant bougainvillea. secondly the menu offered a variety of dishes-including plenty of gluten-free and vegetarian-friendly options for yours truly. and third of all, there’s some pretty good people watching (there was also a wedding going on which i totally spied on). i took the warm summer evening as the opportunity to wear my denim jumpsuit again, this time without a tee layered underneath.

So lovely. The location must have been stunning. And what a fun (double) date night. You look toned, and happy, and put-together… trifecta!

The grounds really are gorgeous and I was dying over all of the bougainvillea! We had a great time, hope you had a wonderful weekend as well.

You look amazing, love the jumpsuit. I hope you are a fan, but you looked a little Taylor Swifty in one of the poses……….

Thank you so much! I take that comparison as a compliment, which pose in particular, I’m curious? 🙂
