don’t look now but valentine’s day is one week away! while i love pink and red and conversation hearts (controversial take, i know) and any reason to celebrate love, truth be told, we aren’t usually ones to do anything grand on the day itself. however i am starting the tradition with the twins to get them a little something to celebrate the holiday (yoda sweatshirts since they LOVE all things star wars) and i know once they’re in school, we’ll be right back in it with paper valentine’s and decorated shoeboxes and honestly, i look forward to it all.
but in the meantime, i wanted to style a few love day looks using the only pop of red in my wardrobe right now –this humble little $14 gap sweatshirt that has actually been such a happy addition. if you don’t have a sweatshirt, a red blouse of any variety would work just as well. which look is your favorite?
p.s. i’m wearing ilia’s color block lipstick in shade flame.
