after 18 long months, the rivera clan took a little vacation! all four of us + papa kurt and gogo just returned from four glorious days at la quinta resort in la quinta, california -also known to us as heaven on earth. we’ve been coming to the resort for YEARS (it was the site of our pregnancy announcement photos as well as our babymoon + countless other celebratory getaways) and it has been a dream of mine to bring our babies there someday so i truly can’t believe those wishes were finally realized!

i shared a ton of photos and videos of our daily adventures on instagram (i saved it as a highlight, too!) as well as made a little reel encapsulating just how magical everything was (cue tears).

while i had every intention of sharing more of what i ended up packing for our time away, the truth is, more than half of the clothes i brought never made it further than my suitcase. turns out when you’re chasing 18-month-old twins around, you don’t have time for multiple outfit changes. oh well.
