it’s funny what responses you receive when you tell people you’re headed to vegas for the weekend.

“ooh, don’t get too crazy!”

“need a lesson in craps before you go?”

“don’t do anything i wouldn’t do!”

and then i’m like, hi, know your audience. and they’re like, oh right.

but yes, i’m headed to vegas. well, technically lake las vegas to a fancy resort for my annual conference for membership and marketing professionals. i’m actually quite pumped about it. for the learning, of course. and maybe just a little bit about the room service and the egyptian-cotton sheet-adorned king size bed. (okay, maybe a LOT bit).

this trip kicks off what will be a bit of a busy travel/social season for yours truly. which, let’s be honest, is awesome because it gives me an excuse to plan some really pinterest-worthy outfits to adorn myself with for said occasions (not that i reallyneedan excuse to do that).

i mean, it’s also pretty cool because i get to take days off of work and like travel the country, too.

so if there is a lack of daily outfits or posts in general, you’ll know why. but don’t think there won’t be recaps. oh there WILL be recaps and instagrammed photos to boot. and seeing as i manage to meet the most interesting individuals while seated next to them on flying tin boxes, you can bet there’ll be stories, too.
