family blogs are kind of a funny thing. you follow the lives of seemingly strangers and yet, through sharing in their stories, changing life stages, triumphs and trials, you come to know them on this intimate level. until you know the names of their children and their recent milestones, how they spent their weekends and what they had for dinner last night.

i don’t care if i’m creepy, i have a mad crush on the jordan family. melissa, brent, everly, and arlo of dear baby are the absolute sweetest little hipster fam that ever was. i’ve followed them since their adventures in san francisco, before both babes were even twinkles in their gorgeous free spirit momma and dadda’s eyes. now their family of four lives in north carolina. melissa writes (fantastically well), brent sings, and everly and arlo fill their days with the joy and wonder of childhood innocence. and even though i’ve never met them, i can’t help but admit that everly and arlo fill my days with the joy and wonder of childhood innocence, too.
