though these days i find myself gravitating toward a more neutral palette in terms of my wardrobe, i don’t think i’ll ever be able to quit color completely. i find neon pinks, vibrant blues, even a good citrine every now and then to be instant mood boosters, especially when i’m looking to add a little punch to my otherwise demure outfit.
so today’s happy-maker comes in the form of a jacket i snagged years ago (we’re talking maybe a decade?!) at banana republic outlet. i’ve never been too keen on red (at one point in my life i was in fact a redhead and have always had a complex of how i look in the crimson hue), but this coat convinced me otherwise. it makes a statement while remaining timeless with its sweet peter pan collar and bell sleeves. for a very parisian-inspired look, i paired my coat with a striped tee, my favorite black high-rise jeans, and of course a bold red lip. all that’s missing is a croissant, a cafe au lait, and a view of the eiffel tower.
oui, oui.

Just beautiful… every part of it. Your hair, of course, is lovely. The lipstick color is stunning. You look completely relaxed in your fashion pick. This is one of my favorites on you. (Have a wonderful day, wonderful you.)
