it’s no surprise that my favorite hemline as of late hits me right below the knee. the midi length is one that i’ve embraced with both arms (see here, here & here) for the fact that it not only makes me feel flirty and feminine, but more importantly ensures that a quick gust of wind won’t leave me in, uh, a predicament. 

so as i start to build my fall wardrobe, the midi trend is definitely one i’ll be carrying with me. lately i’ve been scouring the interwebs to find good (and budget-friendly) dress contenders since they offer plenty of styling versatility and can easily be transitioned from warm to cooler weather.  below are my top discoveries thus far, including this dress that i plan on picking up in grey and black for easy wear/styling now (with a big straw hat and sandals) and later (with a jacket and booties).
