there was a time when i would shy away from buying the same garment in multiple colors. i suppose part of me wanted to avoid having a wardrobe filled with the same silhouettes. years later, i am realizing how silly my philosophy was. if you find something that works, why not grab it in every color? that way your closet is always filled with things you not only absolutely love, but more importantly, that make you feel like your most confident self.

nowadays, i have no shame in buying my favorite tee in three different shades or the perfect pair of jeans in multiple washes. when i know something works with my body, it makes putting together outfits a total no-brainer. my latest case of buying multiples is this sweater. you may remember it from this post (as well as my instagram feed). after snagging it in the grey and immediately loving its cozy shape and feminine detail, i decided i probably needed it in the cream color as well. since both are neutral colors and don’t overtly scream “holiday,” i knew i could get wear out of them this winter (paired with denim and skirts with tights) as well through the spring (paired with midi skirts and even shorts!).
i wore this look on a double date with my parents to the movies on saturday afternoon. since movie theaters tend to be chilly, i was happy to have all of the cozy layers to keep me warm. looking ahead toward christmas, i can’t wait to restyle this feminine knit for a fancier affair. needless to say, this won’t be the last time you experience déjà vu!

I’m pretty obsessed with the bow detail, I’m so glad I decided to grab it in both colors! xoxo

That sweater is so cute. Love the bow detailing. It kind of reminds me of Blair Waldorf.

It does totally give off a Blair vibe, doesn’t it? Even more reason to love it! xo
