this friday, i’m in love with…
terracotta || no, not the kind for potted plants, but the pretty muted orangey/brown color. it’s popping up everywhere for spring and i for one am HERE for it. we stopped by the able store in nashville while we were there last weekend and i was instantly drawn to this simple cropped tee. unfortunately it was sold out in my size, but since spotting it, i’ve been on the hunt for other items in the terracotta color (or similar in spectrum) to add to my closet. here’s what’s currently on my radar:
nicole bruno’s week of outfits || i ADORE the “week of outfits” series on my favorite blog, cup of jo but this week’s feature has instantly become my favorite. i would wear every single one of nicole’s outfits -especially her “friday casual” featuring a gorgeous madewell sweater, jeans, and simple trench, with the cutest gucci knock-off loafers. her style is so effortless yet pulled together and classic -something i aspire to every time i get dressed. it also doesn’t hurt that she is giving me all the penelope cruz vibes.
zara’s spring collection || i know it’s only early february, but here in san diego the weather has been acting a lot like it’s already spring (and i’m embracing it!). so naturally i’m eyeing all the spring collections -including zara’s latest new releases. i want all the things! this, this, this, this, these + this, this, and this, just to name a few.

after a weekend away (which was amazing albeit COLD -see the photo above!), it is nice to be back home (and in 75-degree weather) with very few definitive plans. aside from teaching a couple extra barre classes, S and i plan on enjoying the springlike weather, trying out a new-to-us restaurant, and continuing with our sunday coffee + walk tradition. this weekend’s pick is steady state in downtown carlsbad.
