block sandals styled two ways

good things come to those who wait —for things to go on sale.

and that’s exactly what i did -i waited for these sandals to go on sale and then i snagged them for 20% their original price. you may remember them from this & this post, and after going back and forth for a few days on whether or not they had a space in my closet, i finally pulled the trigger and i’m really glad i did. i realized that as i eventually transition out of my 9-5, i want to maintain a shoe collection that will serve my needs in a more casual capacity. while heels aren’t always practical, especially when i finally enter motherhood, i know having a few shorter heels will serve me well for the occasional date night and special event.

ANYWAY, until those chapters commence, i will wear these both to work and on the weekends. below are two sample outfits i plan on wearing in the coming months:

casual weekend style

madewell denim || zara top || natalie borton earrings (c/o)

zara bag || madewell sandals

dressed up for the office (or a bridal/baby shower/date night)

madewell skirt (similar) || everlane sweater

natalie borton necklace (c/o) || madewell sandals || madewell tote
