this friday, i’m in love with…
kopari coconut deodorant || for the past year plus i had been using the sensitive version of primally pure’s natural deodorant (in lavender). unfortunately they recently decided to change their formula and since that time, i’ve noticed my skin hasn’t responded well. so i went looking for an alternative. based on its glowing reviews (and the generous promo code), i landed upon kopari coconut deodorant. made from a base of coconut oil and coconut water (you can see a full list of ingredients here), it’s free of silicones, sulfates, parabens and gmos. most importantly, it’s also free of baking soda, which i believe to be the culprit of my aggrevated skin. despite the fact that i’ve only technically used the product since wednesday, i am happy to report that my experience thus far has been quite pleasant. i was a little ripe by the end of a long day and workout, but that could be as expected given the duration of time from the initial application. if you’re looking for a non-baking soda based natural deodorant option, kopari is definitely worth a try!
my new overalls || as if i haven’t talked about them enough (you know if you follow me on instagram) in the last week… but guys, i’m so happy that i finally found some overalls that fit my body shape! this adorable skinny style is both accommodating and flattering on my long torso. i love the criss-cross back and the side-zip enclosure. and the best news of all -despite being a skinny silhouette, they have plenty of stretch. i plan on wearing them this weekend (and regularly this fall) so as stated below -stay tuned for a post about them next week. in the meantime, they’re currently on sale for 15% off for madewell insiders and 20% off for madewell muses. snag them stat!
