this friday, i’m in love with…
the great british baking show season 6 || the latest installment of the british import is up on netflix and aside from the occasional nfl game and housewives episode, it’s all we’re watching in casa de rivera. though i miss mary berry and the original hosts, i’m still very much enjoying the charming series. between the delicious treats and adorable accents it’s a feast for the eyes and the ears.
stud earrings || since i’m in workout clothes for about 90% of my week, i hardly wear earrings anymore. but lately i’ve been wanting to add a little accessory so i feel a little more put together even in my leggings and sports bra. i realized i don’t really have any “everyday” earrings. so when i spotted these cute hexagonal shaped stud earrings on madewell’s website, i decided to treat myself and ordered them in gold with gift card credit. at under $20, they’re a perfect little pick-me-up and would also be a great little gift for a girlfriend this holiday season.

cup of jo gift guides || my favorite blog, cup of jo always has the BEST gift guides this time of year. joanna’s picks are always thoughtful and unique and include items at a variety of price points. she releases them periodically so be sure to check back often to see her picks for this season. besides the actual gifts themselves, the best part is that the posts are curated for every person in your life -from your dad to your buddy at the gym who started off as an acquaintance but who now knows more personal stories than some of your closest friends.
in my online shopping cart: just scooped up this cardigan as soon as it went on sale as well as this teddy sweater, too. give me all the cozy things! as you know, i’m still on the hunt for a new pair of skinny jeans and i’m thinking this might be the next pair i try, and this lace top in white would be perfect under overalls!

can you believe thanksgiving is THIS coming thursday?! despite the rate at which it snuck up on us this year, i for one am very excited since it’s my favorite holiday. and lucky for us, the weather is supposed to take quite the dip so we can actually wear some fall-like ensembles to our family gatherings. speaking of family gatherings, i’m hoping to share a few styling sessions on my instagram stories in the coming weeks to showcase holiday looks for inspiration as your social calendar fills up with various celebrations with loved ones.
