beautycounter’s countertime collection || my favorite non-toxic skincare and beauty brand just launched a new collection this week and i cannot wait to try it! countertime is BC’s new answer for reversing the signs of aging. it’s getting rave reviews and i can’t wait to try it for myself. because i literally just placed an order, i’m giving myself a few weeks before i snag a few items. however, if these products are anything like the staples i’ve been using for the past year, my skin is in for a REAL treat!
gap loungewear || guys, i have a problem. every time i go into our local gap, i have to buy a new pair of lounge shorts. in the last few months, i have bought four pairs (hides face in shame). but once i get home from a long day, they’re the only thing i want to put on! i figure they’ll also come in handy when i finally have a baby on the way. ANYWAY, these are the latest additions to my ever-growing collection and they’re like buttah on your skin. they run roomy so i sized down one size.
wimbledon || thanks to playstation vue, we have the tennis channel for the first time during the tournament and it has afforded us the opportunity to watch quite a bit of coverage of this year’s event. i am beyond thrilled that queen serena (did you see her spread in harper’s bazaar?) is back in the finals and can’t wait to see who makes it out of the federer vs. nadal semi-finals match (probably in progress as you read this). gah, i just love tennis so much.
in my online shopping cart: as you may have seen on social media, early access (for cardholders) to the nordstrom anniversary sale starts today. thankfully my momma is a cardholder so i plan on snagging a few things this morning before they sell out –particularly this leopard dress (naturally) and these snakeskin booties (shown only in black).
aside from the nordy’s sale, i’m also eyeing this midi dress and skirt from abercrombie. i know we JUST got our summer weather (in san diego at least), but i’d be lying if i said that i wasn’t really excited for fall fashion.

we have a FREE weekend (the calm before a very busy next three weeks) and i’m really looking forward to seeing where the weekend takes us! our plans are TBD, but you know what? it’s supposed to be 88-degrees and that alone is worth celebrating.

-saturday date night pizza at our favorite local spot
-hoping to finally make it to our local farmer’s market next tuesday
