three loft tops in my online cart right now

loft just released their late summer collection and i’m crushing hard! there’s an abundance of puff-sleeve pieces so of course i’m smitten. while i could have easily thrown about twenty things in my online shopping cart, i’ve narrowed it down to three (technically five since i plan on ordering one top in all three colors) tops that i know will get a ton of wear with both denim shorts and jeans come fall. i REFUSE to pay full-price when loft has a sale every other day so i’m waiting for a promo to land in my inbox before i hit purchase. below are the three tops i’m eyeing and potential ways i’ll style them this season and beyond:

puff sleeve mixed media top (black, green & white) || okay this top stopped me in my tracks. does that seem dramatic? definitely. but good fashion will do that to a girl. i love the mix in fabrics, to me, it gives the top a more luxe feel. but let’s be honest, the buttons and puffed sleeves were what really drew me in. i can see this top easily dressed up or down -it’s a no brainer with jeans, but would be perfect for date night paired with a midi skirt or black slacks (i’d actually wear it with my lululemon pants). i know it sounds excessive, but i think i’m going to order it in all three colors! i mean, the magnolia green color will be gorgeous for fall.

lacy puff sleeve mixed media top (white) || another day, another romantic white top. this top begs to be worn under my black overalls, don’t you think?! i especially love the elasticized cuffs and the delicate lacy detail at the sleeves. it also comes in a pretty deco rose shade.

cinched puff sleeve top (black) || this is the kind of top that i would wear at least once a week if i still worked at the country club. it’s such a beautiful work-appropriate option! you could wear it with a pencil skirt or a pair of wide-leg pants. for me, it’ll be the perfect for those days i want to be a little bit fancy with my typical denim. i envision my fall uniform to be this top, my newest pair of vintage-inspired jeans, and leopard flats.

i get a small commission for purchases or clicks made through links in this post. thank you for supporting the brands that keep this blog up and running.
