admittedly, i made quite a few black friday purchases this year. most of them were stocking up on products i love and use regularly at a discounted price (skincare, makeup, etc.), but a couple were impulse-ish buys that i prayed would work out. one said purchase was this dress from dissh, an australian brand owned, run, and led by women for women. a new-to-me line first introduced to me by natalie (naturally), their linen dresses are beautiful and many of them were majorly discounted for the holiday weekend. at first blush, i was a little worried the dress might evoke little house on the prairie vibes, but i think the dramatic back (obsessed) balances the modesty of the smocked bodice.
i literally ordered this baby on black friday and it arrived today. talk about instant gratification! i was so impressed with both the delivery process and the quality of the dress itself that this will no doubt be the first of MANY dissh dresses in my closet. this one, this one, and this one also caught my eye.
jorja natural linen midi dress (wearing a US4)
and just like that, i think mama finally found what she’s wearing for our family photos.
