momma and i threw sistah a baby shower on saturday and i must say, we (mostly momma) did a pretty bang up job. we even managed to order in a perfect 72-degrees & sunny weather (that was all God). but pinterest-inspired decor aside, what made the shower so special was that it brought together some pretty phenomenal women to pay honor to another pretty phenomenal woman.

selfishly i really can’t wait for that little nugget to arrive. not only for the fact that i have no doubt that sistah is going to be the most amazing mom, but also because i just want to be cool aunt shawna already.
