so if i had to categorize this blog, it might be listed under “miscellaneous.” it’s one part fashion-related, one part current events-related, one part female power-related, and one part gamecocks football (university of south carolina) meredith of meredithbklyn might be my exact opposite -crazy liberal, works in politics, lives in d.c. (so disclaimer: i don’t think i agree with everything she posts) but amidst all of our differences, i can find some common ground -a mutual love for friday night lights and parenthood as well as an affinity for posting about random celebrity gossip.

speaking of gossip, aside from people.com, i credit meredith for keeping me informed of random tidbits of semi-newsy information that make me appear interesting when i bring them up in casual conversation or forward as an “FYI” in an email to a friend. see also: what connie britton said in a recent interview about her former tv husband or how britney spears’ ‘baby one more time” debuted 15 years ago (but really, FIFTEEN years ago) this year.

so if you have a spare moment today, tune into meredithbklyn’s musings. i can’t really quantify why i love this blog so much, but sometimes things simply defy explanation.
