don’t get me wrong, i love me some high heels. but sometimes the weekend (and my calves) just calls for a good pair of flats. over the years, i have come to collect my fair share of no-heeled kicks -some sparkled, some leopard, some peep-toed, and even a pair with ankle straps. but by far my favorite recent addition was last summer’s suede d’orsay flat from my retail crush, madewell.
this season, they are back again, this time in a variety of colors and fabrics. and spoiler alert, i kind of want to buy them all. their pointed toe makes your legs look about a mile long and they are plenty spacious to accommodate for my not-so-narrow feet. yes, at just over $100, they are a bit of an investment, but if you’re going to splurge somewhere in your wardrobe, i’d say sacrificing funds to create a solid foundation (literally) is a great place to start.
madewell’s spring d’orsay flat comes in two solid shades of leather (i’m eyeing the sandstone myself):
a playful snake spot design (i’m completely smitten with these):
and two shades of swanky suede (add a punch of color to a white t-shirt and jeans with the red spark color!):
how will i ever choose? which pair are your favorite?
