plaid scarf for day & play

we’ve made it to the final look in the “don’t get mad, get plaid” series (insert celebratory emoji here). these final two looks are for those of you who may be newly warming up to the idea of wearing plaid (pun intended). it can be intimidating to embrace such a bold pattern, but with a little trial and error, i promise you can make it work for your lifestyle. if you’re not quite ready to take the plunge with a plaid skirt or shirt, a great option is to start with an accessory. my favorite way to wear plaid as an accent piece is with a cozy scarf. not only is a scarf functional in cold weather, it can also add a little personality to your look. think of it like a fabric statement necklace and a neck blanket all in one.
