one of my goals in transitioning this space to showcase my love for personal style and fashion was to prove that you don’t need a celebrity-sized closet to look chic. you can very easily remix some of your favorite items for a variety of occasions with simple the addition of accessories and a little creativity.

case in point, this little striped number that i’ve featured in a couple #shawnaleeannstyle lately posts as well as this post last week. with a couple minor adjustments -swapping out booties for lace-up flats and a leather jacket for a sleeveless chambray, i was able to create a fresh new look perfect for the summer-like temperatures that graced us this weekend.
