this friday, i’m in love with…
madewell’s fall color palette || from rich mustards to soft pinks, madewell’s color palette for fall continues to give me all the heart-eyes. their latest batch of new arrivals also incorporates my personal favorite hue for fall –green. currently idling in my cart are this ruffled blouse, this button-back top, and this maxi dress.
cuyana’s reversible cardigan || after ordering myself a few cozy things from aerie this week (i had a coupon!), i’m can feel myself really embracing the layered look come winter. while it doesn’t ever truly get cold here (in a, let’s say, midwest or east coast sense), with how much S and i love to travel, i know something like this gorgeous alpaca sweater would get a lot of use if we ever ventured to a colder climate (portland, san francisco, nashville, and big sur are all on our current travel wishlist). plus it’s reversible which makes it even more versatile and helps soften the fact that it’s definitely an investment piece. at any rate, it’s the kind of piece that you’d have in your wardrobe forever. the only question now is which color combination to get? pink and camel or white and grey?

after this week, i think we could all use a big hug. i’m surprising (well he kind of already knows now) my husband with a visit to one of his favorite restaurants on saturday and hopefully grabbing a quick coffee with a dear friend –two things i know will fill my soul. however you spend your weekend, i hope it’s filled with extra love and kindness. see you all next week.
