this friday, i’m in love with…
rxbars’s new gingerbread flavor || ’tis the season for a new rxbar flavor! (drum roll…) introducing gingerbread -just in time for the holidays! the sweet team at rxbar sent me a box of the seasonal flavor this week and i couldn’t wait to dive in. the sweet yet slightly spicy bars are the perfect midday or after dinner snack, best paired with an almond milk latte, of course.
madewell holiday || when it comes to the holidays, i tend to forgo the traditional red, green, and plaid palette for more neutral tones -sometimes accented by a little metallic and/or sparkle (see this & this post). lucky for me, madewell is also thinking outside of the box in terms of holiday dressing and their seasonal collection certainly reflects it. lots of muted tones, playful textures, and a bit of whimsy. there are so many things already on my wishlist. hopefully santa is reading:
cup of jo gift guides || i was a little late to getting on the gift guide train this year, so i’ll do you one better and share my favorite source for what to buy just about everyone in your life. my favorite blog, cup of jo kills it every year with unique and thoughtful gift ideas for everyone from your toddler-aged nephew to your next-door neighbor. she’s posted two thus far (kids & best friends), but check back weekly as she unveils one every few days. ’tis the season to shop!
p.s. speaking of shopping, i still may share a few ideas in the coming weeks -including my own personal wishlist for the holidays, so stay tuned!

you guys, thanksgiving is NEXT week! how on earth did that happen?! considering S and my plans (we’re going to la quinta with my parents!), i couldn’t be more excited about this revelation, but still, the holiday definitely snuck up on me! i think i’ve figured out what i’ll be wearing for this year’s feast, but here’s a look back on last year’s outfit, as well as a few more outfit inspiration ideas if you’re still deciding on your turkey day ensemble.
have a great weekend, i’ll see you back on monday for the short week!
