this friday, i’m in love with…
trader joe’s just beets chips || i’ve been all about beets lately. the pre-packaged steamed beets from trader joe’s are perfect for throwing atop my lunch salads for extra texture and fiber. recently (after seeing them on shannon’s blog), i picked up a bag of the dried “just beets” chips to try out as a mid-morning snack. since i have a hard time with serving sizes (what am i supposed to do with 9 almonds?!), i was pleased to know that the nutrition information was for the ENTIRE bag. they’re basically healthy chips and i dipped them in the last remnants of my hummus tub and it was delicious. if you’re looking for an alternative to potato or tortilla chips, i highly recommend!
urban outfitters maxi dresses || while i await the arrival of this dress, i’ve been keeping my eye out for a few more midi/maxi dress options. i stopped into urban outfitters last week during our mother/daughter shopping trip and was surprised by how many dress options they had for spring. especially ones with a longer hemline (i feel like they are usually all about mini dresses). at under $100, there are quite a few i now have idling in my cart. this one tops the list, along with the following:
denim ruffle strap jumpsuit || oh em gee. this jumpsuit is perfect. i have a sneaking suspicion that it’ll be too short for my ample torso, but goodness, i would wear this all summer long!

i don’t know about you, but this week has felt like an eternity. SO happy it’s finally friday! what are you up to this weekend? can you believe it’s the last one of april? S and i have a couple fun things planned but are mostly looking forward to taking it easy. like most weekends, we’re probably most excited about our meals -sushi tonight and monk’s stone pots tomorrow at east village asian diner. i can’t wait!
