this friday, i’m in love with…
aerie’s raw cut city sweatshirt || you guys, i can’t stop buying lounge wear from aerie! after becoming obsessed with this oversized sweatshirt, i recently ordered the same style in raw cut hem and omg it want to go back and order eight more in all of the colors (i own it in olive). i plan on wearing it around the house with sweats or pajama shorts, but i earlier this week i wore it out in the wild with my joggers and i found i still looked put together despite feeling as though i had just woken up from a nap. this sweatshirt is currently on mega sale for under $25 so i highly recommend you snag one ASAP. in fact, i might order myself a second one in this dark tan color.
everlane’s v slingback || in the latest edition of “i love everything everlane does lately,” the company just released their latest shoe style and it’s giving me all the heart eyes, especially as we gear up for summer. the v slingback was revealed yesterday and i’m dying over this woven style in particular. at nearly $200, they’re definitely an investment, but the kind that would last you for decades as they’re made from 100% italian leather. i love how they’re styled with a denim skirt but i’d probably wear them with one of my summer dresses or a pair of cropped denim/pants.
apples & rice cakes with almond butter || this one is random but i’ve been loving it lately so i thought i’d include it… for a perfect midday or after-dinner snack, i cut up an organic fuji apple, sprinkle it with stevia and cinnamon and slather almond butter on one (or two) brown rice cake(s). this healthy snack plate brings me so much happiness and satisfies my daily sweet tooth craving. i highly recommend it!

may the fourth be with you and also happy almost cinco de mayo! we’re still on a high from the excitement of closing escrow yesterday and we plan on continuing to celebrate all weekend long. mostly by starting to pack up the condo in anticipation of moving in a few weeks. anyway, i hope your weekend includes lots of relaxation and even more guacamole. and maybe a margarita or two. see you next week!
