this friday, i’m in love with…
beautycounter overnight resurfacing peel + nourishing cream exfoliator || in the latest “i can’t stop buying beautycounter products because they have revolutionized my skincare routine (and skin in general)” news, i recently sampled two new products that i want to give my stamp of approval. the first is their new overnight resurfacing peel. this skin safe peel employs 15 botanically-derived acids to minimize the appearance of pores, fine lines, and dark spots without irritating or over-drying the skin. in short, you apply two pumps before bedtime and wake up with a brighter, more supple complexion. the great thing is that it’s safe to use up to 3-4 times per week so i’ve been able to see results pretty much right away and i’m loving the way my skin looks and feels thus far. i’ve been pairing the peel with BC’s cream exfoliator whose tiny jojoba beads help to sluff off all of the dead skin and impurities that work up overnight. the combination has resulted in a clearer complexion and has only further solidified my obsession with all things beautycounter. a little of each product go a LONG way so despite the initial investment, i know i’ll be enjoying these first bottles well into the fall.
everlane’s polka dot collection || my favorite sustainable brand just launched a few polka dot pieces yesterday and i’ve definitely got my sights set on snagging this adorable cami. their mini collection includes a shirt dress, an oversized shirt, and the cami.
i’m also in love with this color palette i tried on at anthropologie last sunday 😉
in my online shopping cart: this olive cardigan, this wrap top, this denim skirt & mini dress
favorite outfits from the week include: emily’s white dress, christina’s jumpsuit, molly’s striped sleep dress & julia’s jeans

now that the cat’s out of the bag, it feels like a weight has been lifted. i’m feeling really grateful and excited for all that is to come. notably -the ability for me to sneak in a midday nap if i so please. after spending date night in last weekend, S and i are heading out on saturday for thai food at our favorite spot. honestly it has been a long week so i’m really excited for some uninterrupted time with my number one. i hope your first weekend of august is one for the books, i’ll see you back next week.
xoxo
