well summer finally decided to show up around these parts and we’ve been basking in mid-80-degree temperatures all week. for our weekly date night, i took advantage of the warmer weather by pairing a few of my favorite summer staples together for a casual look perfect for pizza-eating.
if you weren’t already convinced that you needed this skirt when i wore it a couple weeks ago, i have to sing its praises one more time. it’s the perfect fit, weight, and length for a midi skirt. in fact, i love its silhouette so much, i just ordered it in this polka dot version, too. at under $60, it’s a great wardrobe staple that will carry you through the rest of summer and well into the fall. pair it with a sleeveless chambray and a straw hat now (as i did this weekend) and with a light-weight sweater and booties once the leaves start to change.

abercrombie side-slit midi skirt (small) || everlane sleeveless chambray (similar) || universal thread woven mules (TTS) || madewell the simple pouch belt bag (xs) || brixton joanna hat (size down)
