i mentioned in my last update that over the two months since we got engaged, we have managed to solidify all of our dream vendors which has made my little bride heart the happiest (which has in turn made my little groom’s heart the happiest, too). today i wanted to highlight one of said dream vendors who just happens to also be a fellow SFC alum (my middle & high school alma mater). having known rachael ann lunghi -or at least known of her since we were in our teens, it has been such a gift to watch her grow not one but TWO businesses and have the ability to reconnect over the planning of S and my special day. not only is miss rachael the brains behind lace & likes, a creative effort specializing in everything from wedding design to wardrobe styling, but she also recently started a floral business, siren floral co., whose bouquets and centerpieces are truly manifested dreams.
because we believe in efficiency and cohesion, we have decided to call upon both of rachael’s services to help in the execution of our dream day. since we were able to accomplish so much of the preliminary planning details on our own, we’ll mainly use lace & likes for solidifying the details in the six weeks leading up to our wedding, which will be especially helpful given the fact that that month and a half time frame falls smack dab in the middle of the holiday season.
at our brainstorming meeting about a month ago, rachael and i discussed the aesthetic, color palette, and overall vibe S and i hope to achieve on our big day. as i rattled off our preferences, she nodded along signifying to me she totally grasped (and loved!) our vision. i knew we were in great hands. between her design talents and her artistic eye for florals, there was no doubt that we had chosen the perfect lady (and her team) to bring our dream wedding to life.
since rachael wasn’t familiar with our wedding venue, she thought it best to meet for a walk-through so she could get a grasp on the surroundings. S and i met her and her assistant, maria this past weekend and toured the grounds. it was so fun chatting with them and hearing their ideas for how to transform the space. and even better, they were setting up for an actual wedding in the same area where we’ll be married so it was the perfect way to envision how everything might look for our own day. as if it was even possible, our meeting made me even more excited for january! it’s all happening, you guys and we feel so crazy blessed.
next up are our engagement photos THIS weekend with rachel and rico castillero. after years of admiring (cough, stalking, cough) the husband and wife duo on social media, i am jumping out of my skin to finally meet and work with them. wish us luck! i can’t wait to share the whole experience (and photos) with you soon.

Thank you for sharing. All three of you ladies look so happy. You seem so comfortable with your wedding coordinator… she has an important job ahead of her. And it’s great that you have somebody who understands what you’re wanting. It will make the final days of your being single so much easier.
And, I see that you have paired your newest purse with your darling outfit.
