this friday, i’m in love with…
madewell’s striped seamed midi dress || come summer, all i want to do is live in dresses. the area in san diego where we live can get pretty toasty by july and august so i always have my eyes peeled throughout the year for easy breezy (covergirl) frocks i can wear when it’s too hot to wear anything else. as soon as i spotted this striped dress on madewell’s website, i knew it would be a great option for a number of occasions. it would be adorable with slide sandals or even sneakers but could also be dressed up with a wedge heel for a wedding or more formal event. i love the button detailing on the back, too!
free people new arrivals || despite never actually purchasing something from the free people store, i check their website for new arrivals almost daily. perhaps one day i’ll treat myself but until then, here are the things i’m currently crushing on:
chef’s table: pastry || after binging all three previous seasons of chef’s table on netflix over the course of the last nine months, S and i were delighted to learn that season four -focusing on pastry prowess -was just released last week. we of course immediately watched all four episodes because what’s moderation? of the four, our favorite episode by far was the one featuring milk bar mogul, christina tosi. what she’s accomplished in the last few years is incredibly inspiring and now all i want to do is make a trip to new york (or las vegas, toronto, or d.c.) to sample some of her goodies. plus she wears almost exclusively madewell outfits (she doesn’t mention it but i can spot a madewell garment a mile away) so obviously i liked her immediately. catch all four episodes of chef’s table’s 4th season now on netflix.
